Terms of Use / User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using any RideFinder website or service (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Who We Are

RideFinder (“RideFinder,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a platform that connects riders and drivers for transportation, hauling, and related services. We are a technology and matching platform, not a transportation carrier.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• provide accurate and current information when creating an account
• update your information as needed
• notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security issue

5. Platform Role and Relationship with Drivers

RideFinder provides tools that allow riders to post transportation or hauling needs and drivers to offer services. Drivers are independent providers and are not employees, agents, or partners of RideFinder. RideFinder does not control, manage, or supervise drivers’ operations, vehicles, or compliance with law.

Drivers are solely responsible for:

• maintaining valid licenses, registrations, and permits
• carrying appropriate insurance
• complying with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• post false, misleading, or fraudulent ride or hauling requests
• harass, threaten, or abuse riders, drivers, or staff
• attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• use the Platform to arrange illegal activities or transport prohibited items

7. Rider Responsibilities

Riders are responsible for:

• providing accurate ride or hauling details, including group size, luggage, and special needs
• ensuring that requested services comply with applicable laws
• communicating clearly with drivers regarding pickup, dropoff, and requirements

8. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers are responsible for:

• ensuring their vehicles are safe, legal, and properly maintained
• honoring accepted rides or jobs to the extent reasonably possible
• complying with quiet hours, visibility rules, and any local regulations

9. No Guarantee of Availability or Performance

RideFinder does not guarantee that any rider will find a driver, that any driver will find suitable jobs, or that any ride or hauling job will be completed. All matches are subject to availability, driver discretion, and operational conditions.

10. Fees and Payments

If and when fees or payments are introduced, additional terms may apply. At present, the Platform may operate without processing payments directly. Any payment arrangements between riders and drivers are their own responsibility unless otherwise stated.

11. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying systems, is owned or licensed by RideFinder. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Platform or its content except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideFinder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

• accidents, injuries, or property damage involving riders or drivers
• delays, cancellations, or failures to complete rides or hauling jobs
• actions or omissions of riders, drivers, or third parties

In no event will RideFinder’s total liability exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to RideFinder for use of the Platform during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RideFinder from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of:

• your use of the Platform
• your violation of these Terms
• your interactions with riders, drivers, or third parties

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that may harm the Platform, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
