1. The program

Clark Champ, Sole Proprietor operates RideFinder, a ride and haul bulletin board with territory websites including yosemiterides.com and laridefinder.com. Drivers may opt in to receive SMS text alerts when a new ride post matches their chosen service area on a given territory site.

These alerts are a courtesy notification only. Clark Champ, Sole Proprietor does not dispatch rides, match drivers to riders, or guarantee that any alert results in a ride; the ride board itself works fully without SMS enabled.

2. Who this program is for

SMS ride alerts are available to drivers only. RideFinder does not send SMS messages of any kind to riders.

3. How to opt in

There are two ways to start receiving alerts:

• By text message. Reply JOIN. You will receive a message asking you to confirm. Reply YES within 24 hours to complete opt in and begin receiving alerts.
• On the website. While signed in to your driver account, use the SMS alert control in account settings. This records your consent for the phone number on your account.

Consent is not required to create an account, post a ride, or respond to one.

4. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency depends on the daily alert plan available on the territory site you use, up to 5, 10, or 25 messages per day.

5. How to opt out and get help

You can also opt out at any time using the SMS alert control in account settings.

6. Quiet hours

RideFinder sends ride alert texts only during the hours you choose for each territory site you are subscribed to. If you have not set your own hours for a site, alerts are limited by default to 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM in that site's time zone.

An alert that falls inside your quiet hours, on a day you have marked off, or while a site is inactive or in vacation mode, is not sent and is not queued or delivered later.

7. No marketing

Every message in this program is transactional: a courtesy alert that a matching ride post exists. RideFinder does not send marketing, promotional, or unrelated messages through this program.
